The Yamaha Raptor 660 is a 398 pound sport class all-terrain vehicle(ATV) manufactured by Yamaha Motors Inc from 2001 to 2005. The 660r Raptor includes a 36 horsepower 660cc, five valve, 4-stroke liquid cooled engine with the most displacement available in any quad at the time. It also featured a 3 intake and 2 exhaust valve setup, over 10 inches of ground clearance and was quite simply the fastest sport ATV available on the market with a top speed of 74 MPH(stock). More impressively it was sold with an MSRP of $6,499.00 in the U.S. giving the Yamaha Raptor 660R impressive value as well.

According to trial runs, youtube videos, industry magazines and dealer information 74 MPH is the generally accepted top speed of a stock Raptor 660R model. So many things can and do affect the overall top speed that it's hard to take them all into account but a good average is 74 MPH. Elevation, temperature, humidity, rider weight, ATV condition, surface type, fuel type and modifications all play a role in how much speed is possible from your ATV.
