You may have noticed that the Yamaha Grizzly 550 2009 ATV lineup features not one but THREE Yamaha Grizzly 550 ATVs with FOUR Yamaha Grizzly 700 quads on top of those. The main difference between Grizzly 550 and Grizzly 700 ATVs is in engine size, the 550 has a slightly higher compression and a narrower bore (558cc vs 686cc).
The three different Yamaha Grizzly 550 ATVs in 2009 are also virtually the same. One version has Electronic Power Steering, one does not and the third is a special edition 550 with cast aluminum wheels and stunning Red Midnight Armor color ATV graphics. 2009 Yamaha Grizzly 550 ATV features include a long list of optional ATV accessories too.

Yamaha boasts of the industry exclusive automatic transmission on the Grizzly 550 as being the the most advanced drive system in ATV-ing. Shifting between two wheel drive, limited-slip four wheel drive and locked differential four wheel drive, as well as reverse of course, couldn’t be easier.
