Wolverine 450 Automatic 4×4 – 2009The 2009 Wolverine 450 auto 4×4 takes the cake and eats it too, it’s a marvelous combination of work and sport ATV. For work duty it has all wheel drive capability as well as an automatic transmission and for play the Yamaha Wolverine 450 auto offers a light weight and easily adjustable suspension setup. The 450′s engine is 421cc, liquid cooled, and it powers the automatic transmission which can be switched from 2wd to 4wd at the push of a button mounted on the handle bar. This ATV’s styling is also Raptor inspired.
Yamaha Wolverine 450 Auto 4×4An under seat storage container and the rear cargo rack make the Wolverine 450 Automatic 4×4 – 2009 a good choice if you plan on double duty use for your ATV. The independent double wishbone suspension with five way adjustable shocks and 6.3 inches of travel (7.1 in the rear) make it a good candidate for having some plain old riding fun.
Yamaha Motors set the MSRP at a reasonable $6,199.00 and offers in in the traditional Yamaha white and blue color scheme. If that price tag is a little high for your budget or you don’t mind riding a pre-enjoyed ATV you can compare it with similar ATVs at auction.

I have owned my 450 for 7 months with no complaint. Hauling wood to blasting through trails at 40 plus. Heavy in the front end if your interested in wheelies but it will still pull up. I have yet to need 4 wheel drive but its nice knowing its there. I suggest a stiff rear suspension if you like to play around with jumps like i do. Plenty of power but if your hungry for more like i am you can adjust the speed limiter to squeeze an extra 10 to 15 mph.
