ATV Trailer by Futuria
You may remember my writing about the Volkner RV a couple of years ago which, although designed as a car carrying family RV, would make an amazing toy hauler. Guenter Hofbauer in Germany has created what could be an excellent business version of the Vokner (less beds, more couch) with the Futuria Caravan you see here. It was originally unveiled in Dusseldorf at an auto show in 2010 but unlike many show pieces this one is still available for sale two years later for a whopping $800,000.
Special features include the latest LED lighting technology, an internal floor level, a roof terrace which you can access from inside (jacuzzi optional), a multimedia center and an ultra quiet on-board power supply. A kitchen and separate meeting room make this toy hauler perfect as an ATV race carrier on the weekend and family getaway vehicle in the summer.
The truck itself has been aerodynamically designed to reduce drag and while certainly not underpowered is not overwhelming or extremely heavy in feel. Not everyone is used to driving an 18 wheeler and with the Futuria you don’t need to be. Let me know in the comments below which you would choose between the Futuria and the other toy hauler.
