Hi Mike, contact your local DMV and ask them if you are allowed to ride on roads in your area before you do anything else. If you ARE allowed to ride a quad on your street you will most likely need working turn signals, a license plate, rear view mirrors and possibly a couple of other things depending on location.

Hey Meg,

I've updated the post to reflect that this ATV is apparently no longer being sold for street use, my guess is there is a lot of legal issues and not enough sales to warrant mass production, yet.

I would also like to know where I can get one of these.. I have searched the web and been very unsuccessful. I have found some sweet quads in China that are street legal but they will not ship to the United States. I tried the bonaza link up top and that didn't work either. If anyone had any information on one of these vehicles or something that looks just like it please let me know...

It is legal in Arizona you must have a mirror on left side a horn motorcycle tags with O.H.V. Tags as well and plate light, head lights, tail light, and brake light you are not permitted on highways I have a beautiful Yamaha 660 Raptor with custom ITP Rims with scortcher high speed asphalt tires on it with gas prices as high as they are it saves me a lot of money. You NEED Insurance though.

I think its a wonderful idea for most roads and parking would be a lot easier, wish I thought of it first with gas going up a store run is about 10 miles round trip, perfect.

My opinion is that even though lighter, an ATV or even a heavier UTV would be better for highway use than a motorcycle. Easier to maneuver and much easier to see to other vehicles than a motorcycle. They talk about riding an ATV improper on the highway but I pass street bikes all the time on one tire not to mention the speed they are capable of running. I'm not talking bad about bikes at all as I ride one myself but let's compare apple to apples is all I'm saying.
