New ATV logo – 2009 brings a new ATV logo to the AMA motocross championship series. The ATV Promoters Group and the American Motorcyclist Association All-Terrain Vehicle Association have unveiled a new racing name and logo for the 2009 ITP Tires/Moose Racing AMA ATV Motocross Championship.

Other minor changes announced this year include a slight modification to the National Motocross Championship series name. Formerly tagged with “AMA/ATVA” the title will now simple read “AMA ATV”. Parts unlimited, ITP Tires and Moose Racing remain the primary sponsors.

Not to confuse you further the amateur racing series is still run by the ATVA whose parent company is the AMA. Thankfully series promoters still accept both ATVA and AMA memberships at Rider Registration. No changes have been made to the series structure.
