Bought an 04 KFX 700. I love it, so I overlook the flaws. It has tremendous power for an automatic. At speed, the heavy belt whines like a supercharger! Oh man, the v-twin stands up and launches. It is a monster. Now if I were to customize it to the max, I'd try to lower the center of gravity and shift the weight forward and widen the stance: hard to find extended swingarm, wider rear axle, wheel spacers. It corners like a utility, dangerous. The ride will whip your butt, so I ride standing. Not like the caddies with independent rear suspension. It makes my 400ex feel like a toy. I guess I like the KFX 700 for the show when size matters. All KFX 700's should be pimped.

Me and my dad own a 2008 Kawasaki KFX 700 Vtwin, but now that I have read through the posts from Kawasaki themselves, I would consider it a 697cc. But my dad and I hardly ever get time to ride it because we're from South Dakota and its either extremely muddy or extremely snowy. My dad takes very well care of it. He's changed the oil 4 times since we've owned it. We got it last year and it sits there. SADLY!
