by Nick Harris on August 27th, 2007About Polaris Industries Inc - Based in Medina Minnesota Polaris Industries inc manufactures sport ATVs and utility ATVs as well as snowmobiles and the increasingly popular Victory line of motorcycles. Polaris has been in business for over 50 years and can be credited as the pioneer of snowmobiles.
Edgar Hetteen and Allan Hetteen created the first production snowmobiles and were partners in Hetteen Hoist and Derrick Shop. In 1960 Edgar Hetteen went on to form a new company that today is knows as Arctic Cat. A popular brand in its own right.
From talented founders to exceptional dedication from current management the Polaris brand of sport ATV is sure to live on for a long time to come. The 2008 Polaris ATV lineup includes several popular ATV models such as the Polaris Outlaw 500, the Polaris Outlaw 525 and the Polaris Predator 500 and 500LE (limited edition).
