Honda Odyssey ATV

by Nick Harris on Aug 22

The Honda Odyssey ATV is a lot of fun in a little package. In the fall of 1976 Honda produced an ATV named the odyssey which resembles a small sandrail or dune buggy.

With its full roll cage and 4 point harness it also resembles some of today’s go-karts but don’t mistake it for one. The Odyssey is still a popular part of Honda ATV folklore.

The Honda Odyssey ATV line has a reputation for being well built and lasting a long time, unfortunately as the years go by parts and information become harder to find. If you happen to come across a Honda Odyssey for sale don’t let a little dust or faded paint frighten you off, whats underneath is a lot of fun and they are solidly designed. The Honda Odyssey fl350 has earned a loyal following thanks in no small part to how long they last with proper maintenance, a Honda Odyssey buggy may outlast the desire to drive it.

You’re going to find guides and articles on Honda Odyssey ATVs in upcoming posts, if you have written a guide or two please leave a comment to this article.

I bought a 1980 odyssey from a guy who will bring it to me next week. He says it does not have any plastic and needs work to restore it. Can you point me to somewhere that I can get pictures and specs “free” so I will know what I should be trying to get it back too.

You can search the net for free pictures but your best bet would be to pick up an actual Honda ATV Manual for the Odyssey. Hard to find but worth it’s weight in gold.

how much is a fl250 worth

Hi Jesse, Value is dependent on age, completeness and condition. That being said I’ve found a few complete FL250 ATVs selling in the $800 to $1500 range but they did need work. I see rebuilt engines in the $400 to $600 range regularly. These are 30 year old machines with an open roof so prices can reach MUCH higher for a properly restored FL250.

Hey Patrick. The common Honda Odyssey VIN location is on top of the rear frame rail, left side.
