Honda 700xx
by Nick Harris on Sep 26The new 2008 Honda 700xx ATV, also known as the Honda trx700xx, re-defines the Sport category of ATVs. The Honda 700xx sports double-wishbone Independent Rear Suspension (IRS), a unique centered chain drive system, and a fuel-injected 686cc engine making monster torque, the TRX-700XX model is aiming to become the new Sport ATV King of the Hill.
This makes a great addition to the Honda ATV lineup that already includes the popular TRX450R and TRX400EX models

- Independent double-wishbone rear suspension, made possible by the innovative centered chain drive system – features steel upper and aluminum lower A-arms. Using piggy-back reservoir shocks, the system provides 10.6 inches of fully usable travel.
- Steel frame with removable sub-frame is extremely durable and strong.

What is the top speed of a factory Honda 700xx ATV?
I’m from SC and I’d also like to know when the special edition 700xx will come out, thank you.
Stock the 700xx will reach speeds of between 75 and 85 mph depending on ground conditions, altitude etc. Great power down low is a tradeoff that means it may take just a bit longer to reach top speed.
As for a special edition 700xx ATV your guess is as good as anyone’s. The Honda website still shows 2009 models and dealers have been saying yes in the fall of 2010 but it’s the fall of 2010 now and no sign of them, yet.
