Helmet Speaker

by Nick Harris

Helmet speakers. ATVs are loud and talking to your buddies while riding your ATV can be hard to do when there are other riders around. I recently checked out Helmet Audio and found not only helmet speakers but a whole lot of other cool gadgets available to make communicating easier.

One of the neat gadgets that caught my eye, besides the helmet speakers, was a throat microphone. When combined with helmet speakers you can talk without yelling and you can warn your buddies of danger or  let them know you need a quick pit-stop in a flash. How many times have you tried to talk to someone while riding your ATV or motorcycle and not been heard?

Helmet Audio also sells other neat items like an ear bone microphone that doesn’t go inside your ear. Instead the ear-bone microphone transfers sound through the bone behind your ear which keeps your ears open to hear other sounds.

Another nice item I stumbled upon is an intercom system with built in radio that comes with a small attachment case that’s designed to clip onto your handlebars. The wires come with a plug that releases when pulled on for safety and it’s built to withstand vibrations and other conditions you’ll run into on your quad, four wheeler or ATV.

Check out helmet audio today, they make great gifts too!
