Hi Richard, Without more information it's tough to diagnose your problem. The 400 Outlander ATV is equipped with a D.E.S.S. anti-theft system. (DESS stands for Digitally Encoded Security System). It reads the digital encoding built into the key and will not start if it's wrong. Have a dealer test it for you, my guess is you'll find that the system isn't keeping charge (either the key, or the receiver on the ATV) but it is charging as you ride the ATV... only to run out of charge over night. Worth looking into as a starting point.

I have a 2004 Bombardier 400 Outlander that will not start with the key. If I pull start it the 1st time the key will start it the rest of the day but the next day the same thing happens. I have a new battery, what should I look for?
