How much oil does the Baja 90 hold? I want to go riding with my boy shortly and need to know. Thanks.

Hi Jared, the governor on a Baja 90 ATV is located under the left rear fender.

Hey Kelly, the problem is most likely with the ignition coil but you may need a new starter. Check the ignition coil first if you have a voltmeter or get the local shop to test both.

Hey, I just bought a 90cc Baja ATV for my son and it runs well but then it wouldn’t start. It just clicks. It has a new ATV battery but that didn’t help, what could be wrong?

Laura, have you checked the kill switch? Is it working properly? Is it off?

Mike you don’t have to remove it to disable it but if someone under 16 is riding the ATV I don’t recommend it. You only get one brain pan ya know?

If the ATV is running when the wires are NOT together then connecting them will most likely act like an engine shutoff. A toggle switch is completely inexpensive so if there is a kid riding it ATV safety would best be served by keeping the feature as designed. Even if you don’t think you’ll ever need it perhaps you may sell it some day, it’s best to keep it intact.

I own a 90cc ATV and I lost the red kill switch on the back, by the muffler. I wonder, can I wire the two wires that run to the plug together?

Hi I am looking for the best place to order parts for my Baja 90. Fenders, brake light cover and starter switch. My machine runs great however seems quite under powered even after disconnecting the govenor. Any suggestions for improvement on bottom end power?
